5 Tips to Eliminate Fear

Fear is a powerful force that stops you from enjoying the life you truly wish to live. These five steps may eliminate fear from your world so you can move forward on your true path.

When you feel yourself going into fear, stop those thoughts immediately. Decide how you want that certain event (the one causing the fear picture) to go. Play it out in your mind as if you are the writer and director of a movie script about that situation. Once you know how you want the scene to run, actually play out that new scene in your imagination. With your eyes open or closed (as you prefer) put yourself into the scene. Do not watch yourself in a movie. Be inside the picture looking out through your own eyes. See all the details of the place and use your senses to make it all real. Feel the chair you are sitting on. Smell any scents in the air. If you can, grab a cup of tea and waft the fragrant scent to your nose. Smile as you taste this luscious drink and feel its warmth flow inside you-causing peace to flow all over. (Or something relevant to your experience. You get the point.) Stay in that peaceful calm feel good place. Continue to use your senses to make the scenario more and more real. Say the words you want to speak and hear the words you want to hear. Actually-you are after the essence. The exact words do not matter as much as how you will feel during the experience as everything goes toward creating a win-win situation. As you feel yourself enjoying the success you desire, put out your request to the Universe for the event to resolve in this way-or something better. Express your gratitude for all you already have and literally say, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Stay in your feel good place. Recognize that you now know how to use your imagination to create the outcome you want instead of making any fear real to you.
